There is an optional upgrade called Phone Friend+ for £4.99 a month (7-day free trial, cancel any time) which removes adverts and gives you unlimited AI questions. You can try it free for 7 days.
Will it work on my phone? ▾
Phone Friend works on iPhone and Android. It supports all major models including iPhone 8 and newer, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and most other Android phones. When you open the app you tell us your exact model and every guide adapts to match your phone.
Is my information safe? ▾
Yes. Phone Friend does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information. Your progress is saved on your own device, not on our servers. You can read our full privacy policy at phonefriend.app/privacy.
Do I need the internet to use it? ▾
The guides and quizzes work best with an internet connection but most content loads quickly. The AI chat feature requires an internet connection as it connects to our AI assistant to answer your questions.
What if I get stuck or have a question? ▾
The Ask AI feature lets you type any question about your phone and get a plain English answer tailored to your specific model. You can also email us at hello@phonefriend.app and we will get back to you personally.
